Make Selection

Once you're ready to make a decision on a proposal, click one of the voting buttons pinned to the bottom of the proposal details screen. This will add your choice to the My Selection tab, where you can begin the vote submission process. You may proceed directly to My Selection after making your choice, or you may choose to Continue Voting.

If you choose to Continue Voting, simply navigate to the My Selection tab once you are ready to proceed with casting a batch of votes.

Change Selection

You may change any selection prior to submitting your vote. From My Selection, click on a proposal and make a new selection. To finalize your decision, follow the normal steps to submit a vote.

Submit Votes

Once you are ready to finalize your decision, navigate to the My Selection tab, and click Cast My Votes. You will be prompted to enter a pin - use the same one you used to connect your wallet to the app. Click Confirm to submit your votes to the blockchain. Once your votes have been processed by the blockchain, you will see a confirmation message - don't forget to share your feedback via the survey!

You may view your submitted votes at any time by navigating to the Votes tab.

Ensure dbSync and the PostgreSQL database are running, and the database is synchronized past 10 pm UTC on the 23rd of August 2023.

Note: IF your dbSync is not synchronized to at least this date, the results from running a snapshot will be inaccurate. This is because the snapshot is taken at a time when a rollback on the blockchain is impossible to affect the snapshot data, and therefore it's fully reproducible and stable. This is guaranteed by placing one full Epoch between the registration deadline and the earliest the final snapshot can be taken.

• Prior to registration, you must install the latest version of the Catalyst Voting application on your mobile device.

In Fund10, users will need to wait until voting starts to view voting power in the Catalyst mobile application.

The Snapshot Module tool linked below allows users to connect a Catalyst registration in order to check voting power before voting begins, allowing users to validate and troubleshoot registration status before registration closes.

Users will also get feedback on whether their registration is eligible to recieve voter rewards in Fund10. Remember - registrations submitted before Fund10 will be eligible to vote but not recieve rewards. Be sure to update registration and verify using the Snapshot Module!

The Catalyst team provides access to routine snapshots of the blockchain state. These snapshots are automatically taken at 1-hour intervals and uploaded to a persistent storage system in the form of an archive. Currently, these archives can be found by . You can learn more about the available endpoints by inspecting the .

All data is provided by the wallet vendors. Due to the large number of wallets and wallet versions, it is not possible for Project Catalyst to validate this data in all circumstances and is not endorsed by Project Catalyst. If a new registration does not show up after 24 hours, please check with your wallet provider.

Retention Of Data

Your use of Products under the IOG Terms of Use followed by your submission of your personal information constitutes your unreserved agreement to this Privacy Policy in general and the transfer of data under this policy in particular.

IOG will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy and no transfer of your Personal Data will take place to an organization or a country unless there are adequate controls in place including the security of your data and other personal information.

IOG may disclose your Personal Data in good faith belief that such disclosure is necessary to:

Disclosure of Personal Information Within The EU

Disclosure of Personal Information Outside of The EU

Insofar as you have selected and consented to this in the form, your data will be disclosed to our offices within the network of affiliated companies outside of the European economic area for the processing of your enquiry. Whilst we will use all reasonable efforts to safeguard your information, you acknowledge that data transmissions over the internet cannot be guaranteed to be 100% secure and for this reason we cannot guarantee the security or integrity of any Personal Information that is transferred from you or to you via the internet and as such, any information you transfer to IOG is done at your own risk.

Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of our site, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share a password with anyone.

If we learn of a security systems breach we may attempt to notify you electronically so that you can take appropriate protective steps. By using Products or providing Personal Information to us you agree that we can communicate with you electronically regarding security, privacy and administrative issues relating to your use of Products. We may post a notice on Products if a security breach occurs. We may also send an email to you at the email address you have provided to us in these circumstances. Social Media

IOG may use social media plugins to enable a better user experience with the use of Products.

Youtube

IOG uses the YouTube video platform operated by YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Ave. San Bruno, CA 94066 USA. YouTube is a platform that enables playback of audio and video files. If you visit one of our pages featuring a YouTube plugin, a connection to the YouTube servers is established. Here the YouTube server is informed about which of our pages you have visited. If you’re logged in to your YouTube account, YouTube allows you to associate your browsing behavior directly with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account. YouTube is used to help make our website appealing. Demographic Data Collection by Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics' demographic features. This allows reports to be generated containing statements about the age, gender, and interests of site visitors. This data comes from interest-based advertising from Google and third-party visitor data. This collected data cannot be attributed to any specific individual person. You can disable this feature at any time by adjusting the ads settings in your Google account or you can forbid the collection of your data by Google Analytics as described in the section "Refusal of data collection".

Google Tag Manager

Advertising

IOG may use an online marketing tool to display adverts on the Products.

DoubleClick by Google

This website also uses the online marketing tool DoubleClick by Google. DoubleClick uses cookies to serve ads that are relevant to users, to improve campaign performance reports, or to prevent a user from seeing the same ads multiple times. Google uses a cookie ID to determine which ads are running in which browser and can prevent them from being displayed multiple times. In addition, DoubleClick uses cookie IDs to track conversions related to ad requests. For example, if a user sees a DoubleClick ad and later goes to the advertiser’s website with the same browser and buys something there. Web Fonts

Google Web Fonts

For uniform representation of fonts, this page uses web fonts provided by Google. When you open a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache to display texts and fonts correctly.

For this purpose your browser has to establish a direct connection to Google servers. Google thus becomes aware that our web page was accessed via your IP address. The use of Google Web fonts is done in the interest of a uniform and attractive presentation of our website. Newsletter

If you would like to receive our newsletter, we require a valid email address as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the specified email address and that you agree to receive this newsletter. No additional data is collected or is only collected on a voluntary basis. We only use this data to send the requested information and do not pass it on to third parties.

We will, therefore, process any data you enter onto the contact form only with your consent per (Article 6 (1) (a) General Data Protection Regulation). You can revoke consent to the storage and use of your data and email address for sending the newsletter at any time, e.g., through the "unsubscribe" link in the newsletter. The data processed before we receive your request may still be legally processed.

The data provided when registering for the newsletter will be used to distribute the newsletter until you cancel your subscription when said data will be deleted. Data we have stored for other purposes (e.g., email addresses for members areas) remain unaffected.

Newsletter Tracking

Newsletter tracking (also referred to as Web beacons or tracking pixels) is used if users have given their explicit prior consent. When the newsletter is dispatched, the external server can then record certain data related to the recipient, such as the time and date the newsletter is retrieved, the IP address or details regarding the email program (client) used. The name of the image file is personalized for every email recipient by a unique ID being appended to it. The

sender of the email notes which ID belongs to which email address and is thus able to determine which newsletter recipient has just opened the email when the image is called.

In your Daedalus wallet

STEP 1

In the latest version of Daedalus, navigate to the voting registration page from the menu on the left-hand side.

• Confirm that you have installed the Catalyst Voting app.

• Confirm that you hold at least 500 ADA at the time of the snapshot.

• Click on "Register to vote”

STEP 2

Select the wallet you wish to vote with and click "Continue" (ensure the wallet contains the minimum required amount for voting: 500 ADA *excluding rewards*) Note: This amount must remain in this wallet until the snapshot, which will collect your voting power. Dates and times of the snapshots for each Fund will be announced through our official social and communication channels

STEP 3

Enter the spending password for your wallet or connect your Hardware wallet and click "Submit registration transaction":

Wait for approximately 5 minutes until the transaction is confirmed by the blockchain and click "Continue". Do not close Daedalus during this time, otherwise your registration will be canceled and you will need to start over:

Set a 4 digit PIN code of your choice, confirm it and click "Continue". Please make sure to remember it or write it down as you will need it for voting later on. Note that if you lose the PIN you will not be able to vote and you will need to repeat the registration process to select a new PIN:

Daedalus will generate a QR code that you will use on Catalyst App to complete the registration and to cast your votes.

• Click "Save as PDF"

• Click "Save" in the dialog

• Note that if you don't save the QR code you wont be able to complete your registration and vote.

STEP 7

Wait for the confirmation message "PDF successfully downloaded" and click on "Close".
