Register Wallet

Submit registration transaction to Cardano mainnet or testnet before registration closes to be eligible to vote

Already have a valid Catalyst registration from previous funding rounds? You're ready to rock! That same registration will let you participate in testnet voting events. Refer to the Registration Guide for more details on submitting registrations to Cardano mainnet.

New to Cardano? No ADA? No problem. Testnet voting events let you experience Catalyst without investing a cent. Follow these simple steps to get started:

  1. Create a new wallet on Cardano testnet

  2. Get test ADA (tADA) from the faucet

  3. Stake your wallet to a testnet stake pool

  4. Create a new Cardano testnet voter registration (and pin)

Here's a video that walks you through the process:

Typhon wallet gets used in this example, but this tutorial will be helpful no matter what wallet software you choose. All the steps will remain the same, though they may vary slightly according the unique UX of each wallet. Just be sure to remember the critical step of setting your network to “Cardano Testnet” at the create wallet step.

You should complete these steps before registration closes for the event you are trying to participate in!

Once you have completed your voter registration on either Cardano mainnet or Cardano testnet, you can connect your wallet to the mobile application by following the instructions here.

In-App Wallet Connect

Today, users rely on their separate wallet interface to create voter registrations. In the future, users will be able to create registrations from directly inside the Catalyst experience.

You can try out in-app voter registration using the Governance Voting Center. Read more about this PoC interface on the Get Application page.

Coming Soon

You will soon be able to register your wallet for additional roles to unlock new abilities inside the Catalyst Voices platform. Stay tuned for additional details.
